The Yellowhead Tribal Services Agency (YTSA) Executive Board of Directors is comprised of appointed representatives of the five first nation communities of the Yellowhead tribal council (YTC).
Roles and responsibilities of the YTSA Board of Directors
Policy Development
The YTSA Executive board of directors is responsible for policy and procedural development for the agency. In conjunction with the director of YTSA, the executive board of directors continuously improves and enhances policy development throughout the operations of the agency.
Planning and Development
The YTSA Executive Board of Directors is responsible to recommend strategies for efficiency and effective management.
Financial Management
The YTSA Executive Board of Directors works collaboratively in conjunction with the Director of YTSA for the development and enforcement of financial policies and practices implemented by the agency. The Executive Board of Directors is responsible for the approval of the annual operational budget on an annual basis. The financial status of the agency is reported on a monthly basis to the YTSA Executive Board of Directors. The YTSA Executive Board of Directors approves the signifies the agency annual audit a copy of the agency audit is presented and reviewed by the Yellowhead Tribal Council Executive of Chiefs committee.

The YTSA Executive Board of Directors diligently manages and practices the provisions contained in its agreements exclusively and explicitly govern the accountability of the agency for expenditures in accordance with the general accounting practices.
YTSA Member First Nation Networking
The YTSA Executive Board of Directors are responsible to ensure that key strategies are in place to the First Nation member communities in furthering the vision, mission, mandate and key objectives of the agency and to inform the member communities of the agency's activities and priorities.
Accountability and Reporting
The YTSA Executive Board of Directors is responsible for the direct reporting to the respective First Nations. At the request of the First Nation(s), the agency presents operational and program overviews and objectives to the First Nation communities. The agency discloses an annual program report at the YTSA Executive Board of Directors annual general meeting.

Promote the safety, security, well-being and integrity of the children, families and First Nation Members.
Aim to meet the goals of the agency.
Regularly attend Executive Directors Meetings and actively participate.
Act as one voice, one team on the objectives and policies of the agency
